Conceptual Branding Case Study
Close Encounters
Close Encounters is a brand that I conceptualised with the aim of finding solutions to enable ecological restoration. The launch of the brand involved a pilot land rewilding event, which aimed to allow local plant species to thrive through conservation and restoration efforts. 
💭 The Problem
Ecosystem loss, a deeply complex and systemic issue, is currently being experienced in the Noordhoek wetlands in Cape Town, South Africa. One of the factors contributing to this is the introduction of alien plant species which threatens the population of indigenous plants and wildlife in the area.
⚡️ The Solution
With the help of friends, I launched an event aimed at removing alien plant species and rewilding a local wetland in Cape Town. I created the branding and supporting collateral for the event to help restore this land.
